I am very happy to have two post-doctoral researchers visit our histology lab in August, working on our collaborative projects.
Dr Eline Schotsmans is a post-doctoral research fellow (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Global - Horizon 2020) at University of Wollongong and the University of Bordeaux in France. She is investigating funerary practices and burial taphonomy. We are working together on the histo-taphonomy aspect of her current project.
Dr Annie Sohler is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Otago currently working on our Marsden Fund grant that investigates 19th century Frontier mining cemeteries in Australia, New Zealand and California. The project is led by PI NZ Prof Hallie Buckley.
